Launching an email campaign starts in the Portfolio Center. Before the system sends a single email, you must select a Client Code to define the target audience and a Letter Type to determine the email content. Once both are confirmed, the platform handles the rest — filtering eligible records, creating the campaign, sending emails, and generating a return file automatically.
Once a campaign is launched, the system immediately uses the selected Client Code and Letter Type to filter records and send emails. Confirm both selections are correct before you proceed — there is no way to change them after launch.

Launch Steps

1

Open the Portfolio Center

Navigate to the Portfolio Center inside the ACI Platform and select the Email Automation option. The system will prompt you to select a Client Code and a Letter Type before the campaign can begin.
2

Select the Client Code

Choose the correct Client Code for the campaign. Only accounts linked to this Client Code will be included in the send. Confirm the Client Code is correct before continuing.
3

Select the Letter Type

Choose the Letter Type that determines which email content will be sent to the consumer. Confirm the correct letter template is selected before launching.
4

Search for Eligible Records

The system automatically searches for accounts that match the selected Client Code and have a valid email address on file. Records with a blank email field are excluded from the campaign.
5

Create the Email Campaign

Once eligible records are found, the system creates the campaign. You can monitor its progress and outcomes in the Email Campaigns tab.
6

Create the Email Log

The system creates an email log listing every email address included in the campaign. View this log at any time in the Email Summary tab.
7

Send Emails

The system sends emails to all eligible records. For each sent email, the email log is updated with a copy of the email sent and the corresponding collection account status is set to Sent.
8

Create the Campaign CSV File

After all emails are sent, the system generates a CSV file containing the full list of emails sent and saves it to the ACI Return File folder.
9

Run Good Sync

Good Sync runs on its scheduled process, analyzes and syncs the return file, and delivers it to FTP via FileZilla. The return file is labeled ACI Return File.
After launch, open the Email Summary tab to review the email log and confirm every address was captured correctly. This is also where you can view a copy of each email that was sent.
