# ACI Platform: Email Campaign Management for Collections

The ACI Platform helps collections teams launch targeted email campaigns, track every stage of delivery, and receive automated return files — all from one centralized interface. This documentation covers everything you need to run campaigns, understand workflow outcomes, and review results.

## How It Works

The ACI Platform email workflow takes you from record selection to delivery confirmation in a few straightforward steps.

**1. Select Your Campaign Parameters**

Open the Portfolio Center, choose Email Automation, then select a **Client Code** and **Letter Type** to define which accounts receive which email content.

**2. Search for Eligible Records**

The system automatically filters accounts by Client Code and only includes records that have a valid email address on file.

**3. Send Emails & Track Activity**

The platform sends emails, updates each account's status to **Sent**, and records every delivery in the Email Log.

**4. Review Results & Receive Return Files**

Monitor bounce, open, and opt-out events in the Email Campaigns tab. The system generates a CSV return file for every campaign event and syncs it to your FTP destination.
